Sennheiser customized mics with Swarvoski Crystals and Skins
We’ve all seen the numerous gadgets that have taken a turn for the shiny. Well now for the aspiring rock stars out there, there are shiny microphones too. The come in several different variations and allow for plenty of customization. The down side is that as always, customization comes at a very high price. Which means you might need to actually be a successful rock star to afford these microphones.
The Sennheiser mics come in one-color, two-colors and then a multi-color version. For the two-color and multi-color you get to choose the colors, then specify the design. You can have a big red heart in shiny red crystals if you so choose. The multi-color design can use up to 2,300 shiny little crystals. There is a 6 month warranty on the crystals and it could take 1-4 weeks to actually place the crystals on the mic. As I said before these aren’t cheap, the multi-color is 9, the two-colors is 9 and finally just putting on a single color is 9. For those that can’t afford that, they are also offering skins to go on the mic for .95 per skin, you can find them all on Sennheiser’s website.
